Does the hotel have a Destination Fee?

The hotel does have a Destination Fee. It is $35 per day, plus applicable taxes. It includes 24-hour access to the Fitness Center, a $15 per-night credit to Fireclay, 10% Spa product and services discount, Wi-Fi, local and long-distance phone calls, complimentary printing by the Front Desk (up to 25 pages), $8 snack and Front Desk Market discount per stay, and two (2) free bottles of water in-room.

Does the hotel have parking available onsite?

Yes, we have partnered with LAZ Parking which offers guests valet parking for $66 USD, plus applicable taxes, with in-and-out privileges. For hotel guests, valet will be billed your guest folio.

Please note that our garage has a 6'8" height restriction, and oversized vehicles will not fit.

Is the hotel dog-friendly?

Yes, we are a dog-friendly property. Pet Policy: $100 USD non-refundable deep cleaning fee, $35 USD per day non-refundable pet fee.

Please note that breed and weight restrictions apply. 

Does the hotel offer smoking rooms?

No, Hotel Washington is completely smoke-free. Smoking of any kind in your room will incur a $300 fee or a $500 fee for suites. Continued infractions will result in eviction with no refund. Smoking is permitted beginning at 25 feet outside the hotel’s main entrance.

Does the hotel allow parties in guest rooms/suites?

No, Hotel Washington has a no-party policy on all guest floors and in all rooms and suites. Disturbances caused by guests partying in their guest room and/or suite or on the guest floors will result in additional fees applied to your guest folio in the amount assessed by Hotel Washington. Additional cleaning fees will also be applied to your guest folio if cleaning is deemed above and beyond a typical guest stay in Hotel Washington.

Can I pay in cash?

Yes. When you check out you may pay for your final hotel bill with cash (exact change only), credit, or debit card. However, at the time of check-in, you must provide a working credit or debit card which will be temporarily authorized for your entire stay plus an extra temporary hold for incidentals which is equal to $200 above your room and tax total.

Does the hotel provide an airport shuttle?

No, taxis are readily available at the area airports, and Uber/Lyft are active in the D.C. region. The hotel is also a 2-block walk from the nearest Metro station (Metro Center) which provides direct access to Regan National Airport (DCA) via the Blue Line.

Can I check-in early?

While we cannot guarantee an early arrival before our 4 pm check-in time, if a room is ready upon your arrival, we will get you checked in. If not, we can hold your luggage and contact you when one becomes ready.

Does the hotel have a fitness center?

Yes, our fitness center is currently open 24/7.

Does the hotel have a swimming pool?

No, unfortunately, we do not have a swimming pool.

Is there a hotel restaurant?

Yes, we have multiple dining outlets including VUE Rooftop, Fireclay, and the Patio which is open seasonally. Please visit our dining page to make reservations and for hours of operations.

Does the hotel have outdoor dining options?

Yes, The Patio restaurant is an outdoor dining outlet during the open season (spring - fall.)

How old must I be to make a reservation or check-in?

You must be 21 years of age to check-in with a valid method of payment and photo ID.

Is there an ATM at the hotel?

Yes, the ATM is located near the hotel entrance.

Does the hotel offer complimentary Wi-Fi?

Yes, the hotel offers complimentary Wi-Fi for guests.

What time can I check-in? What time is check-out?

Check-in is at 4 pm, check-out is by 12 noon.

Do I need proof of a COVID-19 vaccination to check-in?

No, you do not need proof of a COVID-19 vaccination to check-in.

How is the hotel improving safety during the COVID-19 pandemic?

During the COVID-19 pandemic we have heightened our cleaning and hygiene procedures to an even higher standard. Our team has increased the cleaning of high-touch areas with frequent sanitizing of all areas with EPA-approved disinfectants. Please view additional information on our COVID-19 Care page.
